Infrared Asphalt Repairs

Infrared Asphalt Repairs - U.S. Pavement Services Inc.
Infrared asphalt repairs are ideal for any and all pavement liability issues without a major impact on customers and employees.

The Process

Infrared Asphalt Repairs are a cost-effective way of eliminating further damage, liability, deterioration, and pavement-related headaches. The finished product has the same or better life expectancy as the surrounding asphalt. The repair is frequently less costly than removal scopes and involves considerably less downtime or impact on the property.

Apply Heat

The process involves heating the asphalt to a working temperature of 300 degrees and penetrating the asphalt to a depth of 3″ to 4″.

Level & Compact

After removing deteriorated asphalt and raking in new asphalt, the area is compacted with a vibratory roller. The process ties the edges of the new patch to the surrounding asphalt without seams.

Advantages of Infrared Patching

Infrared Patch

This method is cost-effective, often less expensive than traditional methods, minimizing both material and labor costs. Infrared patching is also environmentally friendly since it uses fewer materials.

Cold Patch

Cold patches are quick and easy to apply, making them a convenient temporary solution. They do not require specialized equipment and can be used immediately after the repair.

Traditional Patch

Traditional patching provides a more permanent solution than cold patches. This method is effective for larger, more severe pavement issues.
